For Sellers

So you’ve decided to sell your home. What next?

You’ve decided to sell your home and you’re ready to move on to the next step. That’s where we come in in. There’s a lot to learn when you are listing a house, even if you’ve done it before. Market trends change, and we’re here to help you navigate the course every step of the way.

Find The Right Agent For You and Your Home.

We recommend interviewing at least three real estate agents to find one that fits your needs, as well as the needs of your home and your neighborhood market. Have each one meet you at your house and walk through it together. Include any agents that friends or relatives have referred, as well as doing some research on your own and finding a few local agents.

The Right Agent Will Come Prepared To the Interview.

There is an art and science to selling a home; staging and cleaning are only part of the process. We prepare our clients for the entire selling process, including recent comparable sales, how to right-price the home, how to prepare the home to get the best selling price, and low-cost high-return upgrades to boost the home’s value and help it sell. Not all agents are a good fit. Some specialize in certain areas, price brackets, or certain types of homes, and that is OK. Find a full time agent that fits your exact needs, and that is excited and engaged, ready to sell your home and work tirelessly for you.

Educate Yourself.

If you haven’t already, spend some time online house shopping. Use different company’s property home search tools. See what is available, what houses are listed at, where they are located, and get a feel for the current market. This will better prepare you for the selling process; after all, knowledge is power.

Talk To a Lender.

If you are selling your home and intend on purchasing a new one, it is important to talk to a lender or your financial advisor first. Before you list your home, we suggest having your financial plan in place, so that all your bases are covered along the way. Insurance, upgrades and renovations, bridge loans, down payments, closing costs; they will all need to be discussed and planned for before you start the process.

How Will Your Agent Market Your Home?

Our team of agents will sit and work through our marketing plan together with you, make adjustments, and then hit the ground running. Our goal is to help you sell your home in your proposed timeline. Our detailed marketing plan and our constant communication will keep you informed every step of the way.
